It all begins with an idea

Every great brand has a core, a central motivation that creates its business. This kernel contains the base set of values, beliefs, its point of view for existence. How do we see the landscape of business and opportunities out there? How do we relate to the things going on? What is our unique point of view on how we want to relate? How do we show up for our prospective customers.

Content is the core of our business, the kernel that makes us tick, the deep truth that motivates us to do what we do. Expression is the set of statements and visuals that communicate the core of who you are. Communication are the vehicles that render and distribute the former two elements.

There is a chain from people > values > products/services > communicating the essence of our motivation to people > people understanding and aligning to them > purchase > agreement on the experience > fandom and loyalty.

I have spent the last 17 years on a journey that begins in K-12 and university education product marketing, makes stops in server technology and management software, developing global ad campaigns, and lands in design where we create new products and experiences.

The idea that makes me tick is that products reflect the humans that make them.

The stories I create are a consideration of empathy, product truth, and clear communication.
